The historical experience of human societies has shown that peace and human rights are always growing and flourishing in a single context. Today, social elites and the nations of the world have come to this believe that on the one hand, without respect for peace and security in society, respect to human rights and its full compliance is impossible, and in other hand, peace and security cannot be achieved without respect to human rights. Foundation of Dialogue and Solidarity of United Nations, as a none governmental organization that draws its ultimate goal on achieving peace and security and respect for human rights around the world, believes that in order to achieve lasting peace and respect for human rights in the turbulent west Asia region, should seek the principals of human rights and peace in the capacities existed among societies and nations of the region far from the media clamor of foreign governments. Therefore, the first meeting of the future of peace and human rights in west Asia presents its statement with emphasizing to the following items:
- The flourishing of the talents of the discerning youth of the west Asia nations, will have no other way than to achieve peace and respect for human rights, and to achieve this we must move towards greater security and peace in the countries of the region. Because security is at the core of peace and respect for human rights, all people in society need security to demand their human rights.
- Governments of the west Asia region should focus their efforts on maintaining peace and security and protect and observe human rights and refrain from escalating the separations among nations, religious and political parties. It is clear that the nations of the region, will condemn any abusive intervention and interference in their political and social affairs.
- The continuation of the bloody wars, such as the Yemen war, will not benefit the interests of any nation or political system, and in this harmful equation, transgressive countries will suffer the most political losses.
- Starting military wars and spreading internal chaos in countries will not only bring peace to our region, but will be the biggest obstacle to lasting peace in the region and observe the human rights.
At the end of the meeting of Future of Peace and Human Rights in West Asia, attended by the honored speakers, Dr. Saad Javad Ghandil honorable ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Iran, and Dr. Mojtaba Ferdowsipour, former ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Jordan, and also the precious presence of our dear guests and especially the Arabian students of Imam Khomeini International University, which holds in 10th of December, desiring to promote peace and friendship and respect for human rights in all human societies, and calls the governments of the region and active none governmental organizations in the field of peace and human rights in reaching new horizons in order to achieve free, active and progressive societies and expresses its readiness to cooperate with governmental and non-governmental organizations to improve the culture of peace and dialogue.
