Kashan

History
Kashan is the cradle of traditional Iranian culture, famous for Dar al-Momenin. It has 7,000 years of urbanization and one of the most beautiful cities in Iran. Kashan is a city with authenticity and with many scientific and literary celebrities and plays a significant role in the tourism industry of Iran. Some of the historians know Kashan with the most authentic and first city in Iran and the world.
Sialk is the name of the first central Iranian urbanization in Kashan, 3 km southwest of the city. The ancient silk enclosure located in the Fin of Kashan is about seven thousand five hundred years old. Sialk is one of the historical places after the civilization of Jiroft of Kerman on the Iranian plateau, which found in pre-Achaemenid period, but the line that created at the beginning of history in Ilam which known as the proto-Elamite and it destroyed after people leave the city. In the Medes and other ancient times, Kashan was well firm. Earlier in the Islamic period, geographic texts referred to Kashan as a small city. Subsequently, development on the Iranian plateau and the central location of Kashan and its communication path made the city an important industrial center. After that, it is mostly refer to as a moderate and successful city of Kashan. In the Mongol invasion, the city destroyed and restored shortly afterwards.in Safavids period Kashan was on the central of attention and most of the kings were resident in it.
Kashan people speak Kashani dialect in Persian, this dialect, like many Persian accents, has a phonetic character, some of which are specific to this region.
Islamic sources, from the oldest one, have always referred to Kashan as Qom as Shi’a Muslim city.
Geographies
Kashan is located in northern Isfahan province and is located between the Karkas- Natanz and the central desert of Iran, where poorly covered by vegetation, in which shrubs found more or less. Two peaks of the Karkas Mountains are located near Kashan. The city is located in the center of Iran 220 km south of the capital, 90 km to Qom and 200 km to the center of the province.
