Sepahdar garden mansion
Mansion of Sepahdar garden, attributed to Mohammad Khan Tonekaboni called Sepehdar-Azam, a famous figure of the Qajar period. This building was built by the Inspiration of summerhouse Mansion (Chehel-soton Palace) and the great Qazvin Guesthouse. Patterning of two royal and luxurious monuments of the Safavid and Qajar period shows Sepahdar’s power, which was created to represent its authority and position in Qazvin. The date of its construction attributed to the years 1944 to 1948.
The Russian and British military forces used the mansion during the First World War, and since Mohammad Vahid Khan Tonekaboni should pay taxes to the government and could not do that, the building repossessed by the state as his other property. The building damaged due to lack of consideration until it restored in 1956 and delivered to the Agricultural Department. This work registered on February 22, 1999 with the number 2227 as one of the national works of Iran.
