On the sidelines of the 6th International Conference on the Future of Peace and Human Rights in West Asia, the Foundation of Dialogue and Solidarity United Nations (FODASUN) organized a workshop titled “UN Human Rights Mechanisms” on November 14, 2024. This workshop consisted of 8 hours of interactive sessions led by Mr. Christophe Peschoux, the former senior human rights officer at OHCHR, and Dr. Mohammad Sadati Nejad, the former expert from the Permanent Mission of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Geneva.
The primary goal of this workshop was to enhance the knowledge and skills of enthusiasts, researchers in the field of human rights, and representatives of Iranian NGOs regarding the practical mechanisms of the UN Human Rights Council, aimed at fostering active civil society participation from Iran in the international arena.
