Qazvin Jame mosque reservoir

The water reservoir of the Qazvin mosque related to the Safavid period and is located in Qazvin, the western side of Shohada Street, and this record has been registered as one of the national works of Iran on October 3, 1998 with the registration number 2080.
It is one of the old and large Qazvin cisterns that was built by Ali Khan in the late 11th century.at the age of Shah Suleiman Safavid dynasty. This water storage is located on Sepah Street, Iran’s oldest street, at the entrance of the Grand Mosque of the alley and contains marble inscription which write on it with Nastaliq line the date of 1093 AH.
In the subsequent repairs of the building, its stones are laid out and some of its rocks are broken and destroyed. One of the two earrings in the sides of the water tank is destroyed and does not include decorations. There are thirty-seven stone steps, and the walls of water storage are 2.40 m in diameter of lime concrete. Its reservoir has a capacity of 1800 cubic meters of water.
