According to the Public Relations of the Foundation of Dialogue and Solidarity of United Nations, the CEO and experts of the Foundation met with Dr. Sheykholeslami, Director of the Center for Political and International Studies of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In this meeting, which was held on November 2021, good talks were held on mutual and bilateral cooperation. Dr. Sheykholeslami emphasized the importance of public diplomacy and the impact of scientific and cultural issues on the flourishing of the achievements of Iran at the international level and considered the Foundation of Dialogue as a successful example of activists in this field.
Affiliated to Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, The Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS) is a foreign policy think tank based in Tehran, Iran. Mr. Massoud Ravankhah, CEO of the Foundation and some of its experts met with Dr. Sheykholeslami at the institute. During the meeting, he was invited to be one of the keynote speakers at the Third Conference on Peace and Human Rights in West Asia, initiated by the Foundation. Expressing his satisfaction with attending this virtual conference, he announced his readiness to introduce other people to speak at the foundation’s conference if necessary. Mr. Sheykholeslami also welcomed the participation and presence of the IPIS as a partner in this year’s conference.
The meeting continued with his discussions on Iran’s cultural capacities, including Iranian philosophical tradition, Sufism, literature and the great poets, in advancing the goals and foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran and securing national interests. At the end of the meeting, he was invited to attend the foundation, which was welcomed.
