Following the participation of FODASUN representatives at the Zimbabwe National Day Celebration in May 2025, a meeting was convened on September 8, 2025, at the Zimbabwean Embassy in Tehran. This meeting brought together FODASUN representatives and Mr. Bezeck Kwanisayi, the Embassy’s Trade Development Counselor, along with Mr. Hupenyu Kasinahama, the Embassy’s Counselor.
During the meeting, participants engaged in discussions regarding key issues such as peace and human rights, with particular emphasis on the effects of sanctions on human rights violations in both Iran and Zimbabwe as potential areas for collaboration.
To further advance bilateral cooperation, it was agreed that the next meeting would take place at the FODASUN office, with the participation of Mr. Bright Kupemba, the Zimbabwean Ambassador to Tehran.
