Tomb of Mirza koochak-khan

The Forest Movement led by a militant cleric, Mirza koochak-Khan, and with the idea of unity in the Islamic world, long struggled against the tyranny of Mohammad Ali Shah Qajar and the colonial rule of Russian and British foreign governments. But the influence of communist supporters in their leaders and their betrayal of the forest movement led Mirza and his loyalists to attack Reza Khan’s government forces in the depths of the forest. Eventually, Mirza died due to the cold and snow in the mountains of Gilawa. His enemies separated him from the body and brought him to Reza Khan. The body of Mirza Kuchak Khan Forest was buried in the cemetery of Solomon Darab in Rasht.
