Bayt Al-Hikma (The House of Wisdom) is considered one of the oldest Iraqi institutions operating under the supervision of the Iraqi Prime Minister. A delegation of experts from The Foundation of Dialogue and Solidarity of United Nations visited Bayt Al-Hikma and met with Dr. Ihsan Al-Amin, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Dr. Ezz El-Din Al-Muhammadi, Head of Legal Studies at the Foundation. In this meeting, Dr. Ihsan Al-Amin expressed his complete desire to cooperate with the Foundation, describing cultural relations as more stable than political and economic relations, citing, for example, the effects of Iranian civilization in China and Turkey and the effects of Arab civilization in Spain. He pointed to the need to respect all cultures in order to deepen cultural relations between nations, and said that different societies can exchange culture while preserving their values.
At the end of the visit, the Chairman of Bayt Al-Hikma Board of Trustees presented a commemorative gift to the Foundation.
