Hamedan square

It is a big square that nowadays knowing as imam-Khomeini square. The design of the field previously prepared and implemented by the German architect, Karl Fritsch, but in shahrivar 1396, the car wreck section destroyed and the entire section turned into a footpath; this podium opened on March 20, 2018. Despite its ancient history, this field still maintains its position with the streets and Hamedan market. The design and principles of streetwalking or branching the streets from this circular shape are such that the larger the city is, the more indirectly under the influence of that central square of the city.
This square belongs to the Pahlavi era and is located at Hamedan, intersection of Shahid Takht Street, and this record was registered on July 12, 2000 with the registration number 2712 as one of the national works of Iran.
