Hoz Soltan Lake

The lake, with an area of about 330 square kilometers, is located on the edge of the Qom-Tehran highway and the north of Qom province. The lake of Houz-e-Sultan, with its diverse and spectacular scenery, displays different scenery in different seasons and in the hours of day. The lake has undergone many dry and humid periods after Islam until about the 19th century. The canal or the salt river is in the form of lakes and changed to marshes and deserts.
