Ali-Sadr Cave

Ali-Sadr Cave

One of the water lagoon cave in Iran is one of the few water caves in the world. Alisadr is also the largest water cave in the world. This cave is located at the height of Sari-ghope, near the village of Alisadr in the city of kabodar-ahang in Hamadan province. The height of the cave is 2100 meters above sea level. The cave area has numerous Screwed corridors and vestibules. From a gathering of waters, a large lake has been created inside the cave, and thus penetration into the cave depths is possible only by boat. Alisadr Cave is one of the tourist attractions of Hamedan province.
Alisadr Cave is the 23rd national natural work that was listed by the Cultural Heritage Organization on January 4, 2009 in the Natural Heritage List of Iran.
What distinguishes ali-Sadr cave from the other caves of the world is the ease of use of the water channels inside it. due to its breadth, can easily be traversed along it and passed through it with boats. Alisadr Cave, with a total of five thousand visitors a day, is located 70 km from the city of Hamedan and attracts tourists to this city.
