Chaharbagh School
The Chaharbagh School, which is also called Soltani School and Madarshah School, is the last magnificent Safavid monument in Isfahan which was built from 1116 to 1126 AH to teach religious scholars during the time of Shah Sultan Hussein, the last king of Safavid. The four-garden school, which, according to many scholars, both school and mosque, has an area of 8500 square meters on the eastern side of Chaharbagh Street. The sign of this four-porch school is due to the fact that it was built during the reign of King Sultan Hussein, and the Chaharbagh school is called Chaharbagh Street. The reason why the Shah’s mother’s school is said to be that the mother of Shah Sultan Hussein has dedicated several caravanserais, market and other economic institutions.
