Hoz-E-Soltan caravanserai

Hoz-E-Soltan caravanserai

This brick building is next to a Safavid caravanserai in the southern plains of Kuhmar. This caravanserai is a brick built in the period of Naser-al-Din Shah Qajar. The building of this typical caravanserai has three buildings in three corners of the building. In each of these forums, there is a platform between four columns. The characteristic of the caravanserai is that its interior, instead of being ahead of the surrounding walls, is retreated and decorated with log cabinets and short columns above the walls. There is also a backyard in the courtyard instead of the main porch, and behind it the reception hall is built. This building style was common in the homes of Kashan and Yazd, but it was not seen in other caravansaries. This inn is located on the Tehran route to Qom. The only entrance to the caravanserai is in front of the main courtyard. From there you can enter the main gate of the Caravanserai. On the sides of this gate there are rooms for guards and two cafes. The main courtyard with full mirroring consists of verandahs that are also seen in other caravansaries. There are corridors along the porches that lead to the stables, next to one of the porches, the stairs go upstairs. Behind the porch, there is a hall that is air-conditioned and cooled by four air-conditioners. The building has water storage complex which used daily. There are also brick chambers with limestone rocks around the courtyard.
In front of the caravanserai, another courtyard can be seen with a vault. Before the main courtyard is a place where the caravans stayed in the dust and winds. There are arch doors around the caravans that horse riders used. There are several rooms on the south side, where the walls are attached to the old Safavid caravanserai wall. In the southwestern corner of the counter, a bath consists of a large room and two small rooms. The larger room was used as a dressing room and cabin. It was one of two small rooms for fists and possessions, and the second room had a pond for a bath. The bath furnace is located below this complex.
